Since 2001, the Dallas chapter of The Ryan Gibson Foundation has been proud to present the Crown Ball, a one-of-a-kind silent auction and fundraiser that has contributed to the overall $1 million dollars that the foundation has donated towards research that will one day provide a cure for leukemia and other blood-related diseases. From its inspiration to its ever-changing execution, nothing about the Crown Ball is typical. Entertainment and venues change annually – one year attendees may find themselves across the table from a fortune teller or tarot card reader, while the next year they're enjoying cocktails, hopping into vintage photo booths, and listening to DJs in a cutting-edge industrial arts space. Decked out in their best purple and gold cocktail attire, the one thing attendees CAN expect is the risk of being locked in "jail." No, not in the county jail – but in the now-legendary Crown Ball Jail. We could tell you more, but it's really best to come and experience it firsthand. We promise you'll never have a better night in jail. So come join us for the next Crown Ball, happening this year on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at The Apartment. There will be a silent auction, cocktails, music and entertainment. Friends will be made, good times had by all, and most importantly – money will be raised to benefit The Ryan Gibson Foundation. We hope to see you there!
